Macro view template analysis

Workout Structure:

First day was followed 1 min all-out manner, and this is subset of AMRAP template. This exercise was a couplet element that was combined of a fundamental weightlifting movement with a low skill bodyweight movement. The purpose of the exercise was to improving the stamina and increases the fatigue capacity. Moreover, 1 min of all-out movements challenges the lactic acid energy pathway. But overall, the aerobic system is dominant energy pathway in this WOD.

Second day was followed both “For Completion” and “as many heavy as possible” template, respectively. Two formats of gymnastic and weightlifting were used in this high volume WOD. The purpose of the exercise was to perform the heaviest resistance in 5 repetitions. The reps selected so that challenge the strength. Strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination were challenged for GPP skills. Moreover, the aerobic system was a domain energy pathway for first part and the lactic acid system was a domain energy pathway for second part of this WOD.

Third day was followed “AMRAP” template. This exercise was a triplet element that was combined of two weightlifting movements with a cardio movement. The main focus of this WOD was on stamina and cardiorespiratory endurance. Moreover, the aerobic system was a domain energy pathway.

Conclusion

As can be seen, 2 energy pathways (aerobic and lactic acid)  were challenged in this cycle. Moreover, the stamina, strength, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination played a major role in this circle of programming. Also, power is latent in the nature of these programs. As a final note, “AMRAP”, “For Completion” and “AMHAP” templates were used for programming in this cycle.

Enjoy your rest day and recover your physical and mental dimensions
