Scaling:
A classic chipper of 500 reps, this longer workout is characterized by intermediate-level bodyweight movements and light loads that allow people to keep moving with limited rest. Newer athletes should reduce the volume and use movement modifications that ensure large sets and short rest breaks. Intermediate athletes can perform this workout as prescribed.

With a partner, split up the repetitions any way you see fit. Only one teammate can work at a time and the exercises must go in order.

As rx'd, 33:47. Unbroken HSPU, 10-5-5 ring dips, 10-10-5-5 T2B, 4x10 push-ups, 20-15-15 swings, 20-15-15-10 wallball, 21-15-12-9-9-4 burpees, 8x10 pull-ups, slow and steady box jumps, DUs in 2 bigger sets and a bunch of smaller sucky sets. This didn't get real until the swings, and then it got ugly fast with wall ball followed by burpees. Happy to get through without too much drama.

Subbed: tuck for box jumps (no box or suitable platform), 35# DB for 16kg KB (no KB), good mornings w/45# plate for back extensions (no gear to support). Otherwise Rx.

I didn't time individual exercises, but KTE took absolutely the longest - grip fatiguing, shoulders on fire, and core fatiguing about 25 reps in. WBS took longer than expected, but burpees and DUs went better than expected. Couldn't say when the last time was that I did the Filthy Fifty, so this will be the new PR.

Rx other than substituting 35lb plate for 16kg KB, knees to elbows and armpits, wall balls to 9' ceiling & 100 single unders. Legs are still no good which made things slow. Felt Iike the burpees took half the time

Champions Club Scaling Notes


RANT

This one is probably my all-time favorite, mostly because it's the first workout I ever posted my results on here for (though not my first ever CrossFit workout).


WORKOUT THEMES

A benchmark that gives us a short test in stamina for a bunch of different kinds of jumping, squatting, and core to extremity movements.


SHORT MEDIUM LONG


LIGHT x


MEDIUM


HEAVY


TECHNIQUE SCALE

Pick three of the movements and do an AMRAP in 20 for it


CONSISTENCY SCALE

Scale weight/ROM to make sure all movements are unbroken, rest as needed between movements.


INTENSITY SCALE

Do inverted Filthy Fifty where the double unders go first, then sprint the burpees and live with whatever happens after that


MY STUFF

Did a Christmas Workout rest-run instead. I'll get back around to this one though. - update 12/13 - did this in 17:20

These rep ranges aren't recommended for older masters athletes (see the CrossFit Masters course). If that's you, try "Dirty 30" all the way through, scaled as necessary, and then 20 reps of each to get a similar stimulus without over-taxing any particular movement pattern.
