♂ 225-lb barbell, 70-lb dumbbells, 20-lb medicine ball to a 10-foot target

Scaling:
Today’s pyramid workout is going to be a grind with each movement effectively fatiguing the following movement. For example, the rope climbs will affect your grip during the deadlifts, while the deadlifts will tax your legs for the wall-ball shots, and so on. Advanced athletes can push to finish under 12-13 minutes. However, expect most to complete today’s workout in the 15- to 20-minute range. Choose scaling and loading options that allow you to keep moving consistently. Use a load for the deadlifts that will allow you to complete them in 3 or less sets the first time through.

Was at a new gym. Asked if the owner knew the length of a round trip of the hallway for the farmer’s carry. He didn’t. I said, “Okay, I’ll measure it afterward.” Ended up being 300’. It hurt so much worse…

Heavy modifications to this workout due to home gym restrictions. No rope climb, so modified with upright row and negative press at 65lbs. Max dumbbell weight of 40lbs so 500 ft farmer carry. Wall ball shot was modified to goblet squat press with 40 lbs dumbbell

Globo wod: sub rope climbs with either 15 towel pullups or 15 L sit pullups. Dumbbells sub use the Dumbbells from the farmers carry for the deadlifts, wallballs sub thrusters 15/20lb dumbbells if a medicine ball isn't available. If needed break up the farmers carry to 25ft or 10ft lengths based on gym set up. Also if necessary complete all 30 towel or L-sit pullups before processing onto the rest of the chipper if pullup bar access will be an issue.

Should have gone 155 on the deads, but still coaxing my back back. FCs were either 35s or 44/35 or 53/44. That was the easiest movement for me, so should have gone heavier. I dread WBS too, but not many movements can fire you up like them.

DLs were done in 2 sets each, WBS were more broken, and it seemed like the KTE+commando pull-up combos took forever. Should have gone heavier on the FC since I nearly did it unbroken. Didn't have a rope hence the sub but wouldn't have done towel pull-ups either as the palm of my right hand is still pretty torn up from last week's digging and concrete pouring extravaganza.

What’s a commando pull-up? What I do, called by someone Tarzan pull-ups, is looking down the bar, hands close together with palms facing each other like on a rope, with the head going to different sides of the bar each rep.
