9complete plus 11 reps with 25 lateral jumps over a rolled up yoga mat. Moving the mat is a failed rep. Had to reroll the mat A few times. Feet feeling it now. Only the first and last set of burpees were @30 seconds. The rest were about 35-40.

2022 Age-Group Quarterfinal Workout 5

3 rounds for time of:

50-calorie row

15 handstand push-ups

50 double-unders


As rx’d, 14:03.


Rows were all about 1:50 to 1:54 pace, about 2:30-3:00 for each row.  Took foot off the gas a bit in rounds 1 and 2 during the last 5 calories, to try to be fresh getting to the wall for HSPUs.  Unbroken HSPUs.  Double-unders were tough, a few breaks each round; I have a lot more difficulty when fatigued.

Myles, Pat, and Zac rocked \m/ the L1 course in Stockton, CA !!!


Their expertise in the content and personalities brought so much life to the training content. They definitely hit all the important points with great analogies and emphasis, which made taking the course test on the last day feel easy.


Also, big thanks to CF209 for welcoming us to your space, ill be thinking of your indoor track when I'm outside "warming up" at 6 am on a 400m run down a neighborhood street in the dark shrouded in coastal fog.

WORKOUT THEMES

Short and light. Accuracy and stamina main factors most likely; jumping with elasticity, changing orientation, and coordination also themes.


ASSUMED

You can do 1 round per minute


MAIN DECISION

Do you want shoulder fatigue/accuracy to play a factor in jumping?


TECHNIQUE SCALE

As is, lose the timer and just do 12 rounds


CONSISTENCY SCALE

2 rounds of:

3 minutes of burpees

3 minutes of double unders


INTENSITY SCALE

AMRAP in 12 minutes of:

10 burpees

20 box jumps (touch-and-go)
