Fun to do power cleans after two days off for the legs (rest-day + yesterday's shoulder-WOD).

RANT

So I was planning on doing some sets at 155 between cleaning stuff, but I have really been dragging the last few days in terms of workouts and I knew I'd just be going through the motions on these cleans. On many occasions like this I like to just "check the box" and do them anyway because one of the main reasons I do workouts is so I can stay in the habit of actually doing workouts. Keeping the habit of workout out is really important to me because I don't like working out very much at all. But today I realized that, despite not working out, I haven't completely skipped a day in forever. So after about 2 sets of cleans, I decided to call it good and just kept cleaning. I trust my habit is built in enough to stay for at least the next few days.

WORKOUT THEMES

Jumping and landing with a heavy freaking weight, emphasis on the jump.

MAIN DECISION

Is my technique good enough to go for a heavy single?

TECHNIQUE SCALE

Same format, lots and lots more reps, also setting the bar down and continuing is cool.

CONSISTENCY SCALE

Same format, heavy sets of 5's

INTENSITY SCALE

Do a short sprint or something before each set

INJURY SCALE

Pick a max effort in something you can do at full capacity.

MY STUFF

See rant.
