Mike Does MHS: Aseem Malhotra Interview

Dr. Aseem Malhotra sits down with CrossFit Health at the 5th annual Metabolic Health Summit and discusses “real evidence-based medicine” and the roadblocks healthcare professionals face when trying to apply this type of care. The main obstacle is a pandemic of misinformation influenced by biased data reporting in medical journals, biased reporting in media, and commercial conflicts of interest that profit off of misinformation. At its core, “real evidence-based medicine” requires ethical care of the patient while communicating in ways that provide the full picture and are completely understandable by the patient. As Dr. Malhotra’s father said, “The ultimate purpose of knowledge is to reduce human suffering.”
