Scaling:
Today’s workout leaves the difficulty up to you. The intention is to sprint through the first two movements and have at least 40 seconds on the rower to accumulate calories. The load of the barbell should be on the lighter side of moderate and allow you to perform 3-5+ touch-and-go reps. Fast singles might be the way to go for some. When in doubt, go lighter and move faster. Once you are done with the snatches, get right into the burpees and try not to stop. Can anyone hold 20 calories or more on the rower? Less-experienced athletes should reduce the load of the barbell and number of burpees to give themselves enough time on the rower. Time to go visit the pain cave.

Unbroken snatches and tried to move efficiently on the burpees.  Snatch technique improved in rounds 3-5.  Pleased with the effort to not coast in rounds 3 and 4.  Was able

to sell out on the last round rowing.

I have no idea why I read the power snatches as not only power cleans, but hang power cleans :( oops!


started out at 75#, felt too easy- was on the rower with about 1:15 left. Upped the weight to 85, then 95. THEN realized it was supposed to be power snatches :-O


Moved the weight back down to 65#, proceeded to do HANG power snatches... finally got it right on the very last set and did power snatches at 65#. Got on the rower with about 55 sec to spare.


Rower monitor is broken so I have no clue how many cals. Wish I would have done the workout correctly from the start. Might save this one for a rainy day and try again to really get the full effect. Def got my sweat on though with those burpees!

Versailles IN CG, hot and humid as heck. Scaled a bunch, did 40lb DB PS, burpees over DB, did 10/arm first round then dropped to 10 total. Used the globo wod sub of 25’ shuttle runs for row.

1,3.5,3.5,4,4.5 runs.

I am new.This is my FIRST EVER CROSSFIT WORKOUT Beginner option:

Stopped early on the first round because I thought I heard the buzzer, oh well. I am not fast at cycling regular burpees, let alone lateral over the bar, so decided to scale the PS weight to something I knew I could do unbroken every round in order to ensure I could get through all burpees, and still have time to get on the rower. C2 was on drag 7. Still a heluva burner despite the scaling.

Back on schedule with the main site. intermediate scale at the Y. Air assault tower. Calorie totals are after the tower stopped as it didn’t seem to record for a little while at each start.
