50 box jumps

50 GHD sit-ups
50 dumbbell thrusters

♂ 50-lb dumbbells, 24-inch box

Post time to comments.

Scaling:
In this workout, we deconstruct the dumbbell thruster into the push press and the front squat before combining them again — all paired with a test of leg and core stamina in the box jumps and GHD sit-ups.

This dumbbell chipper starts fast and gets a bit sticky in the front squats. In order to finish in sub-15 minutes, you will need to keep moving on the thrusters, stringing together big sets.

The accumulation of work becomes evident when you start your first couple of thrusters. Dig in and go big for the finish!

The goal is to be done around the 20-minute mark.

Broken each set up into reps of 10-15. Almost found my failure limit on the thrusters. I had my physical training test yesterday, so this was a great one to come back to. I'll be sub-20 next round.

My body was not having it today, the goal became "just keep swimming"🐠. Abs began locking up in the GHDs before spending a full 9min working through the thrusters.

  • Complete the workout in 6:00-12:00.
  • Complete each movement unbroken and rest between them as needed.
  • Finish the first 3 rounds in 4:00 (1:20/round) or less.
  • Finish the box jump-overs in :30-1:00.

Globo wod: box jump sub are jumps to an equivalent height platform, or bench jumps. If your globo has those aerobic step things 24" is 10 risers each side plus top, 20" is 8 risers plus top. GHD subs are either to sit perpendicular on a bench (or on a medicine/exercise ball) with your feet under heavy dumbbells and do situps touching the ground behind you, incline board situps, weighted abmat situps, stick abmat situps or 2 to 1 abmat/conventional situps. Dumbbell work as Rxed.
