What Rodrigo’s been doing is of utmost importance since doctors in Brazil tend to consider CrossFit and similar activities super risky! Congrats, Rodrigo

And in my opinion Education is the key to Bridge the Gap between Sick Care and Fitness.
Let’s do it!

This is so good. Medicine does nothing to cure disease. It mitigates symptoms and can reduce risk in the acute phase for sure. But we are doing a huge disservice prescribing people a "low fat diet" and statins for everyone who's cholesterol and triglycerides are mildly elevated while ignoring the absolute garbage they eat and the sedentary lifestyle they lead. As a nurse who treats patients in the most acute phase of cardiac events, I do believe some patients need medication, but hopefully, the end goal is to get most patients off medications and living a healthier lifestyle. Going to try and find the CrossFit health panel interview now. Keep it up guys!
