A recent study from Johns Hopkins and published in JAMA found "more than half of America’s youngest adults — 56 percent of those ages 18 to 25 — are overweight or obese." While BMI may not be the best measure of a healthy body weight since it fails to account for body composition, the study nevertheless highlights a troubling trend driven by poor nutrition and sedentarism.
