I would love to see this Slippery Slope Fallacy explained side-by-side with the Broke Window social theory. Both seem to cover the same topic, but diverge widely and come to different conclusions. They are accidentally referenced as usable data in the argument for the other's case often in my work (military). The snake begins to eat it's own tail...

Thanks for posting. I think most laws that infringe on the second amendment are going to be slippery slope cases. NY against large sodas is one of many examples of legislation attempting to curb overconsumption of refined carbohydrates. Minneapolis banning new drive-throughs and the UK pushing to prohibit snacking on public transportation are also slippery slopes that, hopefully, will spur some long-term health improvements despite restrictions on individuals’ freedom.
