Complete as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:

8 ring dips
8 sumo deadlift high pulls
16 double-unders

♂ 95 lb

Scaling:
Expect to go around and around the merry-go-round in today’s workout. The rep volume is low, and so is the loading. This should allow you to push the pace for the entire duration of the workout. Advanced athletes should try to maintain unbroken reps for as many sets as possible. Less-experienced athletes should scale the movements to perform a single round in 2 minutes or less. That said, we could see advanced athletes maintaining a single round every minute.

Intermediate option:
Complete as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:

8 jumping ring dips
8 sumo deadlift high pulls
16 double-unders

♀ 55 lb
♂ 75 lb

Beginner option:
Complete as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:

8 foot-assisted ring dips

Thought about extending this one to 12:00 for 6th round Dips and highpulls were good counters. 95lbs was correct choice. Dips felt good. Highpulls were slight awkward. SingleUnders were hit and miss. Not too gassed but blood was flowing.

As rx’d, 7 rounds + 1 SDHP.


Dubs cooperated today – 5 out of 7 rounds unbroken.  Most sets, broke ring dips 5-3.  Similar with SDHPs.  Was pretty tired already from squats and deadlifts, so pretty pleased with this result.

I was hoping for 4 rds given my proficiency with DUs (lack there of), so well happy with this. Would need to have DUs go unbroken and a few less breaths between movements to go beyond 8 rds in that time domain. RDs and SDHP all unbroken.

4 rds + 4 ring dips (lost about 1:30 in the second round because I stubbornly insisted to try double unders with my cheap old jump rope, before finally switching to my newer one) I might include double unders in my warmups from now on to work on the cheap technique (makes you jump higher,probably what double unders were intended for anyway xD)

Globo wod: sub TRX dips, bar dips, or 2 to 1 pushups on dumbbells if rings aren't available. Dumbbells sub for SDHP are 25/35lb dumbbells.
