Felt solid on the way up, but lowering into the next “touch & go” rep was were I felt my form go a little. Need to work on negatives I guess. Maybe @ 60-80% of 3RM or 1RM to get better there!?!?

Haven’t deadlifted for a max in probably 6 months to a year. Pretty happy!!! Especially, since I’ve had some lower back niggles off & on recently! Mostly from sitting with crap posture on the couch 🛋! 😅
All time 1RM DL PR was 265# w/ grips @ maybe 130-140#s BW. Ray Anderson had been training my ass off with weightlifting! My goal: 300#s (all the weights I own!)

Focused on keeping shoulders above hips at my set up. Started out at 275 because the video said to use 80% of 1RM. I ended up being able to do way more than that. Perhaps my max has increased? Happy with these lifts today.

Only DB available, so I did:
7 x AMRAP of DB deadlifts in 1 minute, followed by 2 minute rest
2x15kg DB
SCORE: 17/18/19/20/20/19/21 = 134 reps
As I was feeling good, did 2 more identical sets (19+19) and a final set of 30, for a total of 10 sets & 202 reps.

After all the recent pushing, squatting and jumping, this one felt almost like rest day 👍
200905, according to my notes, was 7x20 reps with slightly lighter DBs, so some improvement, I guess. Felt good and solid.
