Snatch 50kg
C&J 60kg
Used 15 mins to work up to a single in each then did a further 5 mins of each to add 4 more reps at that weight so 40 mins total. No records. Still working back from a shoulder injury.

195-200-210-210-200 (power)ugly
Momentarily lost consciousness right after the first rep at 210 even though I got it locked out. After I finished with another ugly squat c&j single at 195 I did a squat clean and jerk at 145, emom for 10m...to work on that overhead lockout and footwork.

Good session. Technique was not great today – was a little pressed for time so didn’t do a ton of practice before jumping into the working sets. Was
under 175, but lost it forward both times. Struggled in the squat position of the clean today, but improved as it went on. Jerks, on the other hand, got worse. Not aggressive in getting under the bar, which made the last two ugly press-outs.

haven’t done either for weight in a loooooooong time. Long enough that snatches are intimidating again but I managed to get within 25# of my old PR single.
cleans were a breeze, jerks were a little sticky but I still pulled off a match to my previous 1rm!

Subbed 24kg kettlebells
10' EMOM 10 snatches (100 snatches)
10' AMRAP kettlebell clean &jerks, 5x5 double clean and jerks, then 3x5 single bell c&j /arm
Both of the snatch and c&j are core to extremity movements. They are combined of deadlift, shrug, high pull, elbow rotation, pull under, overhead/front squat and push jerk. As can be seen, mostly all fundamental movements are present in these movements. The athletes should evaluate their snatch and c&j records in this WOD.
Template: This WOD follows “As Heavy As possible” template, so scoring is based on maximal weight lifted.
Modality: This exercise is a single modality that includes 2 high skill and heavy weightlifting movements.
Purpose: In this day, recovery has not been a limiting factor. The amount of resistance should be progressively increased per set to reach the athlete’s 1RM. Athletes can strive to maximize their maximum strength in this exercise. Resistance must be selected so that it is an athlete’s one repetition maximum. If the athletes do not have a good rest between sets, their record will drop.
Note: The trainer should observe the techniques of movements during the exercise and correct any mistakes at rest.
Time to perform: This high volume and heavy WOD takes about ≈ 29 min. Athletes must strive to do their best and should rest 3 to 5 minutes between sets.
Running a class: Trainers have ≈ 31 min for set other parts of class.
Physiology (GPP): Strength play the major role in this exercise. Furthermore, mobility, balance and coordination are challenged in this WOD.
Physiology (energy pathway): The phosphagen system is a dominant energy pathway in this exercise program.
