OFFICIAL RULES – 2025 CREATE COMMUNITY CUP CONTEST

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SPONSOR

The 2025 Create Community Cup (“Contest”) is sponsored by CrossFit, LLC, located at 3623 Crossings Dr., Suite 223, Prescott, AZ 86305 (“CrossFit”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to CrossFit affiliate owners who:

  • Are in good standing with CrossFit, LLC as of January 1, 2025.
  • Have a current CrossFit Trainer Credential (Levels 1-4).
  • Are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher).

Employees of CrossFit, LLC, its subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest submission period begins on March 20, 2025 at 12:00 AM PST and ends on April 4, 2025 at 5 PM PST. Winners will be selected on June 2, 2025 at 5 PM PST. 

4. HOW TO ENTER

  • Submit a proposed workout by posting it on either Instagram or X. 
  • Tag @crossfitaffiliates and include the hashtag #CC2025.
  • You can also submit via Google Form here.

5. PROGRAMMING RESTRICTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS

To increase your chances of winning, consider the following: 

  • Use of Common Equipment (defined below)
  • Consider average space in a typical CrossFit affiliate (i.e., equipment spacing, ability to run multiple heats within an hour long class, etc.) 
  • “Classic” CrossFit encouraged: intelligent couplets, triplets or chippers. 
  • Consider avoiding:
    • Bikes
    • SkiErgs
    • Rope Climbs
    • GHD Sit-ups
  • Common equipment includes:
    • Dumbbells, 35/50/70lbs
    • Kettlebells, 16/24/32kg
    • Barbells and standard plates
    • Pull-up bar
    • Gymnastics rings
    • Plyo box, 20/24/30”
    • Medicine balls, 14/20lbs
    • Rower/erg
    • Jump rope
    • Open floor and wall space

6. PRIZES & WINNER SELECTION

CrossFit LLC will select three (3) winners and the winners’ workout(s) will be used as Community Cup Workout(s). Workouts chosen will be announced on social media when workouts are released to the public one week ahead of the Community Cup competition. Workouts will be attributed to the winners (by “tagging” their Instagram handle) when announced.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS

CrossFit reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any factor beyond its control that impairs the integrity of the promotion. Entries must be submitted by the CrossFit Trainer. CrossFit reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of tampering with the entry process or violating these rules.

9. RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, entrants release CrossFit, LLC, its affiliates, employees, and representatives from any liability related to:

  • Claims arising from entry into the Contest.
  • Technical errors, lost entries, or unauthorized interference.

10. PUBLICITY RELEASE

Winners grant CrossFit, LLC the right to use their name, likeness, and workout details for promotional purposes, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes arising from this Contest will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Participants agree that any claims must be resolved through binding arbitration in California under AAA rules, and waive their right to a jury trial.

12. PRIVACY

Information collected in connection with the Contest will be used in accordance with CrossFit, LLC’s Privacy Policy, available at https://privacy.crossfit.com/

13. NO SOCIAL MEDIA ENDORSEMENT

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social network. You are providing your information to CrossFit, not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the United States standard Privacy Policies.
