“You’re taking two movements that we’re very familiar with. You have the squat clean and you have the thruster,” Costa explains. “Drive through the heels off the ground. Get that momentum (with) full hip extension before you pull yourself under that bar into that solid receiving position. Then rinse and repeat.”
