CrossFit Podcast: Adrian Bozman on Programming the Games

Stephane Rochet (CF-L3) joins Competition Director Adrian Bozman at the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games to discuss Bozman’s first year planning the Games. When Bozman stepped into the role of Competition Director, he was given a blank slate. Although it gave him creative freedom, Bozman says it wasn’t without challenges.

The two also dive into how the CrossFit Games fit under the umbrella of CrossFit and serve the community, providing a professional endeavor for elite athletes while drawing everyday athletes in through the methodology.

“It’s the promo package,” Bozman says. “In the larger ecosystem … it’s the aspirational element that you can look at and say, ‘Wow, I’m fired up to go train.’”
