Overview
The CrossFit Kids Certificate Course provides specific methods for teaching CrossFit to children and adolescents. Participants learn techniques for teaching the CrossFit methodology to kids safely, effectively, and appropriately structured for specific age groups, as well as how to build a CrossFit Kids program at an affiliate. Throughout the course, participants learn how to pair fitness with fun, which is essential in setting a child on a lifetime path of fitness. Affiliate owners, teachers, coaches, and parents all benefit from learning this unique, kid-friendly approach to teaching CrossFit.

The CrossFit Kids course is a two-day webinar lasting from about 8:30 am – 2:00 pm each day.

The default language for the CrossFit Kids Certificate Course is English. In some countries, a translator is provided. Lecture and small-group practical sessions are translated in real time. Courses with a translator are specified in the “Language” section from the event registration link. Generally, translators are used in Latin America and some countries in Europe and Asia.
Yes. CrossFit offers private course options that can be custom-designed. These courses can be scheduled upon request and, in the case of schools, can be hosted on site to allow a large number of staff to participate. The course can be specifically structured to focus on either the elementary/middle school or middle/high school levels to provide the most thorough and relevant information to address particular participant needs.

The minimum requirement to train CrossFit Kids is a CF-OL1 or CF-L1 trainer credential. Attending the CrossFit Kids course (without a CF-OL1 or CF-L1 trainer credential) does not permit attendees to train CrossFit Kids.
