Hi Paulina. Use whatever you have. A kettlebell, jug of water, duffel bag stuffed with something. Be creative. Just make sure you can lift it safely overhead.

Standards say no gymnastic grips. Does that exclude plain old gloves? My hands get extremely sweaty, and get rubbed raw on the DB grips. I have used regular CrossFit gloves in the past. Just wanted to know if those are allowed.

It doesn’t specify “or any other wearable hand protection”. The reason for no gymnast grips is so the grip can’t be counted wrapped around the dumbbell, essentially removing all need to use one’s own grip strength/endurance.

21 single snatches, 21 burpees & 21 snatches (swap arms on second set.) repeat for 15, 15, 15, 9, 9, 9
