5 shoulder-to-overheads
10 deadlifts
15 box jumps

♂ 115 lb, 24 inches

Scaling:
Today’s workout is a repeat of an Open workout from 2013. If you competed in 2013, check your score and go for a PR.

Both the load of the barbell and the height of the box should allow you to move through the reps quickly — the load should be light and the cycle time should be fast. A single round should take no more than 2 minutes to complete. Advanced athletes may be able to maintain 1 round per minute (maybe more).

Did this one after an extra rest day because of being too sleep and body tired. Probably my body telling me it's time to deload and rest.


Jerks then deadlift was kinda awkward and nonlinear. Back blew up early and jerks felt heavier than I would have liked for only 5. This workout was all about the jumps. Felt like I was kneestriking my ribs each jump.


Essentially this was the 4th straight week of an open type workout. My body is tired of these open style grinds.

Still working around my rib injury…scaled to 75# STO, 115# DL, and 24” box jump ups/step downs

Better than last year, not as good as 11 years ago.

I wish I could see my old score on this workout in March of 2013, but it looks like the links to comments on old workouts are defunct and so the comments are gone. Kind of sad.

Haha my bad Mike! With all the football and hip hop rants I've done, I wonder why I didn't include the wayback machine in there somewhere. I can get lost in the old CrossFit site for hours at a time
