Just did this as a lift finisher. Was just trying to get reps in. Broke up into 4 sets of 2:00 with the last :15 being rest. Haven't done wallwalks in a while and now twice in a week. Thought my arms would give out with the quick volume, but they held up. DeadLift was irrelevant. Think 225lbs would've been a better weight for a quick double.

As rx'd, 9 rounds.


315 felt very heavy.  Not sure it was the effect of the wall walks or just 315 is heavy these days.  Wall walks went swell – 2 is a great number – had to focus more on deads and take a quick breather to make sure I was set.  Last few sets were tough.

Deadlifts felt very hard today, wall walks felt like nothing really except preventing you from resting between DL and elevating heart rate in an annoying way. Belt tight, loose, tight, loose. Overall pretty nice WOD.

M48 - Intermediate 10 rounds


I wasn’t sure about the scaling today. My previous RM was 3RM 120kg. So going Rx meant a serious PR for me, but I haven’t focused too much on strength, so I thought there was a possibility for me to use the Rx weight of 143kg. After a solid warmup and a new max 1RM PR of 143kg I decided to scale to intermediate anyway. I wasn’t going to Rx this wod. Yet I’m still psyched I got a new 1RM!
