It seems that Kurt Vonnegut had the right idea. Rest hard, work harder. Murakami got me thinking when he mentioned that keeping a routine over a span of time can be taxing, so he has to be physically and mentally fit.

Today's workout: scaled Loredo

3 rounds

Air squat - 24

Pushup - 24

Walking lunge - 24 steps

Run - 200 meters

I definitely agree with the Articles takeaway to “Do the most important thing first”. Making sure you get work or your workout done in the morning is key!

Shows how different all writers are, just as how different we all are. Some need complete solitude, others are ok being in the midst of everyday distractions. But like every calling, all are highly committed to their craft…writing is too hard for dilettantes.

Best description of SM and the internet: the information (or disinformation) storm.

Awesome way to start my CrossFit journey, I read the article and I will re-read the book. Also will get some swimming later on.

Absolutely, keep up posted Carlos!

And I think I like EB White's segment the most, and it relates to a lot of things, whether CrossFit or basketball related.

Also also, I like the one from the guy who doesn't use outlines because it's restrictive; I can relate; I write pretty often for our site (used to be more) and any time I've tried to do an outline I just end up backspacing all of it anyway and going with something different. Also, when I coach I almost never know what the group is going to do for the workout until about 30 seconds before we actually start it.
