PushJerk felt great. Probs could of hit a set of 165lbs, but I just wanted a heavy 5, not max 5. Back was blown up still from KBSwing/1.5mile progressive run Saturday morning June 17.

PushJerk is stronger than last year when I was lifting heavy with a 165lbs 3 rep max. Almost got a plate with strict press.

Still trying to feel comfortable at my powerlifting gym (not college gym) and doing heavy 5 solid jerks felt great.

Nothing to rant about, but I will rabble about Michigan opening up on Peacock this fall. Now get off my lawn!


WORKOUT THEMES

Weightlifting. High output followed by full recovery. Pushing overhead, using skill to carry out our strength


SHORT MEDIUM LONG


LIGHT


MEDIUM


HEAVY x


COORDINATION SCALE

Stick with push press, do lots of reps per set, worry about the other ones a different time


POWER SCALE

Either do it as listed and pay attention to the speed on the way up, or sub wallballs as high as you can throw them (maybe sets of 12?)


BALANCE SCALE

Either as listed and pay attention to the pressure on your feet, or do handstand push-ups, kipping handstand push-ups, and freestanding handstand push-ups


MY STUFF

Did sets at 5 reps of 50# dumbbell strict press between cleaning stuff
