165-180-195-225-235 (dropped between reps) power clean+clean+power clean the first 3-4 sets. Then finished with all power cleans at 235. Last rep was a little ugly. In regular shoes, and used a belt above 200.

Did our Bulletproof workout today instead. Did some 65# squat cleans as part of warm-up.

6RFT

5 Burpees

7 Box Jumps (24" box)

12 KBS (53#)

10 Walking lunges

10:12

Then a partner event:

Pull-ups and plank (while resting) and 400m run

KBS/Goblet squat (53#) and 800m run

Box step-ups (24" box) and 400m run

DL (95#) or Lunge (your choice) and 800m run

50yd partner Bear Crawl while dragging a KB (35#) - the partner not dragging has to remain with the dragger

  • One person runs while the other does an exercise, then switch off once the runner gets back

Didn't pay attention to our time or how many reps, I just know that we weren't last.


I may work on cleans more tomorrow. Keep crushing it ya'll!

Globo wod: If you have access to bumper plates and a barbell go to town. If you are using iron plates today use a weight that you can bring down under control, using sets across (same weight for all sets). Dumbbells sub dumbbell cleans 3-3-3-3-3. If you max the available dumbbells do AMRAP sets. Also you can do sandbag, d-ball, medball or atlas stone cleans if that's what you have access to today.

Whatever you can go heavier with, which should be squat. If you can power clean more than you can squat clean, it may be a good opportunity to practice squat cleans!
