In a keto-adapted individual that is wanting to maintain their weight, how long after dietary fat is consumed before it is available as a fuel source for exercise? How long does it take excess dietary fat to replenish muscle-stored fat droplets after being consumed? Thank you.

Thank you for sharing! Love your mission and your story. Another reminder of why we keep doing CF. Can't wait to drop in next time I'm visiting Encinitas.

As a certified nutrition coach and someone who followed a low carb diet for two years, I ask that you please stop pushing this way of eating, especially for women. It wrecked my metabolism and I’m still dealing with the consequences two years after adding carbs back in. Eating healthy carbs at healthy levels is fine and should be encouraged. People should focus on cutting processed foods and making sure they get enough nutrients. If a person is craving sugar it’s probably because they aren’t eating enough carbs.

Did you read the book? They may promote eating healthy carbs as part of a dietary restriction on mass amounts of processed foods and unhealthy carbs. There is nothing in the description about the book that says they promote eliminating all carbs. More information is always better. Some people such as myself do not do well on tons of carbs and eating low carbs, sub 100 a day for about 10 years, I've been able to obtain a fitness level as a level 9 Crossfit athlete and a national level powerlifter with no injuries or metabolic side effects. Everyone is different allow people to read, learn and discern what works best for them.
