I completely agree with Jérôme's message above. I'm a hobby horse rider myself, and the toes-to-bar exercises allow me to work on my abs to improve my posture as a rider.

I'am discovering cross fit. I am training mostly young girls to hobby horsing and i am struggling to find videos that explains cross fit movements fiting with this new sport;

Basically legs and running movements appropriated for girls from 6 to 16 ys old. It seams to me that most of crossfit videos show movements related to the upper parts of the boddy.

Am I wrong ?

Felt it off sorts today. Woke up with neck pain, one dog pulled, the other had the shits. Took it as a sign to scale and was pretty much at my limit each round.

17:06 with 115lbs. Handstand walks in unbroken 25’ segments each time. Cardio limited on everything but the lunges. That felt like strength work, so I did 25’ at a time upon reaching the turnaround. On round 3 I didn’t put the bar down but rested with it on my shoulders. Should’ve done that every round. Did this workout before the one posted prior to this one. Didn’t think doing this on smoked shoulders would be as effective or safe.

Out of range on Tuesday when this was programmed. Completed instead today, Friday 9/5.

Scaled to 80lbs bar and 1 min HS holds.

Globo scale: "Intermediate" athletes scale to 15 GHDSU or 25 TTB, 20 ft HS walk, 80/115lb barbell for lunges. "Scaled" athletes 25 weighted situps or 25 hanging knee raises, 50ft overhead carry with 40/60lb db's, OH walking lunges with 65/95lb barbell. "Beginner" 35 abmat situps or 15 hanging knee raises, 50ft bear crawls, 35/45lb front rack lunge.

Oh walking lunges were challenging/ awkward with the barbell. Scaled to 115 then again to 75 when that didn't go to well.
